Happy New Year!

Happy 2023 to all! Out with the old and in with the new, as they saying goes. And ‘new’ is certainly the word as we leave 2022 behind.

First (and with a huge ‘Thank You’ to Siadbh at Greene Media) there is a new-look website for the Riley Realm; how do you like it, a site where it’s ALWAYS Halloween! For updates on spooky projects rising from the Realm in the coming months, keep visiting….if you dare! (I don’t like the look of that guy of the Homepage, very sinister)

But, perhaps most important of all to look forward to as the year turns, there is a new book! Details are firmly under wraps for now, but not for very much longer. What I can be share is I listened closely to those of you who enjoyed Banshee Rising but posed the same challenge more than once to me since its publication: more scary!

Well, this spring offers my answer to that challenge. You wanted more scary – done; you wanted supernatural chills – done; a vengeful witch, thrills, dangerous magic, and a race to possess a source of wicked power before the rising of the sun? All done and contained in a book packed with supernatural creatures who are simply dying to meet you.

Stay tuned for a special cover reveal in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, I promise to keep some things the same as before. In October 2022 I had a fantastic school-visit season to read The Halloween House for children, and I’ll be doing the same as the haunting season comes around again.

And I’ll keep writing of course, there are plenty more scares to offer in 2023.

Phew! It’s going to be quite the year.
